This year’s Pharmacy Assistant National Conference (PA Conference) offers attendees a free Refresher Training workshop on pain management, which will assist pharmacy staff in fulfilling their annual, three-hour requirement.
The PA Conference is an annual event hosted by the Pharmacy Guild which provides a two-day education program, trade exhibition and networking and social functions.
Held on Friday 28 October, the free Refresher Training workshop is an interactive session on pain management which will provide attendees with the knowledge and understanding of what pain is, how to recognise pain, appropriate treatments and how to help your customers manage their pain management needs. The workshop will be delivered by Pharmacy Guild Workplace Trainers/Assessors.
Following on from the Friday morning workshop, the rest of the conference program will cover current industry trends, product knowledge, management and operational practices and motivational presentations, providing a great opportunity for staff’s personal development and to upgrade their skills
PA2022 is being held at the Sofitel Brisbane central on 28-29 October.
