2020 PATY Winner – Benjamin King
Benjamin King from Alice Springs Pharmacy and the Northern Territory has been announced as the 2020 Pharmacy Guild of Australia/ Maxigesic Pharmacy Assistant of the Year.
Ben was chosen from over 460 nominations and awarded the title at the annual Pharmacy Assistant National Conference in Brisbane on 12 October 2019.
“I had no words. The sheer talent and passion of all the other finalists was incredible, so when they’d told me I’d won I was in disbelief,” Benjamin said.
“My PATY experience so far has been exciting and overwhelming. Its insane. I never pictured myself here. I went into PATY with the mindset of what do I have to lose? I wanted to meet others with immense passion and learn something in the process and now here I am.”
