Prominent Customer Experience Expert, Amanda Stevens will share her secrets to creating better connections, and communicating with confidence and influence at the Pharmacy Assistant National Conference (PA2018) later this month on the Gold Coast.

Amanda will explore the difference between effective communication and infectious communication to allow pharmacy assistants to improve their influence to turn customers into brand advocates for a pharmacy.

“We are entering a new era of influence where the powers of persuasion are an essential skill for everyone in an organisation,” Amanda said.

“The customer experience is a team sport and everyone makes a contribution to how consumers view a brand.

“The new communication skill that enables individuals to have influence and impact is story telling.”

Amanda’s session titled Express your expertise, improve your influence will be held on Friday, 26 October at 10.15am.

In addition to learning how to create infectious communication with customers, pharmacy assistants will also learn from a range of other topics at the conference including companion selling, harm minimisation, how to better engage with local communities and dealing with difficult customers.

QCPP Refresher Training on assisting customers with products for gastrointestinal conditions will also be available as a pre-conference workshop.

PA2018 will be held from 25-27 October at Sea World Resort on the Gold Coast. The conference provides a forum for pharmacy assistants to gain product knowledge, professional and personal development, and management skills.
