SESSION TYPES

Plenary Sessions

Provide industry updates, key insights into common community pharmacy issues, and motivational topics to inspire delegates to excel in both their personal and professional lives. These sessions are suitable for all pharmacy assistants.

Pharmacy Knowledge Stream

Provides specific product education relevant to community pharmacy and is great for those new to the industry and looking to improve their pharmacy knowledge, or experienced pharmacy assistants wanting to update their skills.

Management & Operations Stream

Covering a wide range of topics, this stream provides valuable advice and practical tools to assist delegates with the day to day operations in their pharmacy.

 

CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS

Pre-Conference Workshop: QCPP Refresher Training – Embarrassing Bodies

Pharmacy assistants can be exposed to some weird and wonderful conditions. Following on from the international success of the TV series ‘Embarrassing Bodies’, this interactive session will explore a myriad of embarrassing conditions to improve your confidence when dealing with potentially uncomfortable situations.

Time & Date:     9.00pm – 12.00pm, Friday 11 October

Cost:                     Free for full conference registrations/ $50 for day delegates/$80 for non-conference delegates (includes morning tea)

Post-Conference Workshop: Building patient loyalty in the dispensary

For the vast majority of community pharmacies, the dispensary patient is the most valued customer. Patient ‘stickiness’ is the buzzword, but how is it achieved? What are you doing to make more patients loyal? In this session Senior Health Strategist at Sinapse, Kos Sclavos will help you develop a plan for patient stickiness.
