Nominations for the 2019 Pharmacy Guild of Australia / Maxigesic Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award (PATY) are closing soon!

The Award officially opened in March at the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition on the Gold Coast.

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia National President, George Tambassis said that the Award is the premier opportunity to recognise the outstanding contribution that pharmacy assistants make to the community pharmacy industry.

“Now in its 13th year, the Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award provides a truly national platform to acknowledge and appreciate our frontline staff,” Mr Tambassis said.

“This award is the premier award for approximately 35,000 pharmacy assistants in Australia. It provides a public platform to recognise pharmacy assistants as valued health care professionals to employers, the community and the industry.

“With the support of our major partners, we look forward to acknowledging and celebrating more pharmacy assistants than ever before.”

The National Winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize and a Guild Training course, amongst other great rewards. State Finalists and State Winners will also be eligible for prizes.
